Susan S. Morrison, LCSW
Susan has been a practicing clinician for more than twenty years after earning her Masters in Social Service at Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including community mental health and private practice. Susan’s clinical approach is integrative, drawing from Object Relations Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relational therapies. Susan completed her DBT training through Behavioral Tech.
Susan works with preteens, teens and adults seeking improved self awareness and coping strategies to overcome the obstacles to living the life they desire. Within the context of a supportive and validating therapeutic relationship, clients are empowered to establish authentic goals, often related to identity and sense of self. Susan specializes in the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, self-defeating behaviors, life transitions, social challenges, addictive behaviors, and ADHD. Consultation with parents regarding parenting issues is also available.
In addition to her work with OPAL, Susan is a member of Integrative Psychological Associates (IPA), a group practice with offices in Berwyn and Narberth.

Dr. Daniel Yemin
With twenty years of experience as a practicing clinical psychologist, Dr. Daniel Yemin uses a combination of psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral strategies to increase self-awareness and insight, and to develop and strengthen coping strategies and problem solving skills among his adolescent and adult clients. Utilizing a methodologically integrated approach, he aims to help clients identify, understand and overcome obstacles to wellbeing and success in the domains of relationships, family, work and school.
After completing his bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Michigan, Dr. Yemin earned both masters and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) from the Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener University in 1998. He completed his post-doctoral work at the Elwyn Child and Adolescent Residential Treatment Program. In addition to his twenty years in private practice, Dr. Yemin has worked at numerous university counseling centers, including the University of Pennsylvania, LaSalle University, and Widener University. Through his private practice, Dr. Yemin has worked with a diverse client base. He is experienced in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and relationship issues. His areas of treatment specialization include adolescent and young adult psychology, coping with chronic illness and navigating divorce. When working with adolescents, Dr. Yemin also provides parent consultation and support, and with permission, he will collaborate with schools, psychiatrists, physicians and educational support staff. He also has two decades of experience working with LGBTQ youth and adults.

Dr. Jim Coupe
Dr. Jim Coupe is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been in professional practice for over 12 years. His relaxed, flexible demeanor allows him to meet clients at their personal level of readiness for change. Jim’s practice features work with preteens, adolescents, and adults. He utilizes psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral strategies to help address problem behaviors, as well as mood, anxiety, and stress-related issues. Jim works particularly well with student-athletes coping with the unique challenges presented by both academic and athletic expectations. Building on his own experience as a competitive college athlete and strong academic performer, he combines a variety of techniques and approaches to aid performance in these areas.
In addition to his private practice, Jim serves as the Clinical Director at the Saint John Vianney Center, which is a licensed psychiatric hospital for Catholic clergy. In that capacity, he oversees the center’s residential evaluation and treatment programs. He actively collaborates at national and international conferences on such topics as clergy wellness and healthy boundaries.
Jim graduated with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Widener University. Additionally, he holds three Master’s Degrees: Master of Business Administration (MBA), Criminal Justice (MA), and Psychology (MA). He is an undergraduate alumnus of Moravian College.

Dr. Victor Shklyarevsky
Dr. Victor Shklyarevsky (Sky) is a licensed psychologist who has been in practice for over 20 years. Dr.Sky treats individuals across the life-span, utilizing a custom-tailored approach that includes psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapy, collaborative problem-solving, and dialectical behavioral therapy-informed skill building.
Dr. Sky specializes in anxiety, depression, AD/HD, learning difficulties, anger management, substance abuse, and life’s transitions. He enjoys working with children, preteens, adolescents, adults, couples and provides collateral family therapy. In addition to therapy, Victor administers psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational assessments.
Having obtained a doctoral degree (PsyD) from the Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener University, Dr. Sky trained and worked in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient, forensic, substance abuse, and with other high-risk treatment-resistant populations.
Dr. Sky has served as an Associate Adjunct Professor in graduate programs where he lectured on group psychotherapy and substance abuse. He has coauthored articles and conducted a variety of workshops with local professional organizations.
A third degree black belt in Shotokan Karate, Dr. Sky is an avid Zen/mindfulness proponent and practitioner, and continues to challenge himself in martial arts, Crossfit, and raising children in the 21st century.

Dr. Nicole Chaikin
Dr. Nicole Chaikin has been a practicing clinician for nearly twenty years. Her integrative approach to psychotherapy weaves aspects of psychodynamic, dialectical (DBT) and cognitive behavioral strategies to tailor treatment to the individual client.
Nicole values opportunities to work collaboratively with preteens, adolescents, and adults around a variety of life’s challenges and personal goals. Nicole’s areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorders, self-injury/suicidality, dissociative and trauma-related problems. She also enjoys consulting with parents regarding child development issues and parenting concerns. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Chaikin currently holds school psychologist positions at The Episcopal Academy and Montessori Children’s House of Valley Forge, and is a consultant for Montgomery School.
Nicole graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Clark University, earning the distinctions Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude. She earned a master’s degree in clinical social work (MSW) from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as both master and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology (PsyD) from the Institute of Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener University. Nicole has held leadership positions in various mental health settings, including community mental health agencies, inpatient units, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, and schools.
